Police gear

Not all police gear is easy to buy or is meant to be purchased by most people, but the fact is that there is some basic police gear that just about anybody can easily purchase. For example:

• Flashlights – You have probably noticed that the flashlights that police officers carry around are some pretty heavy duty police gear items. The fact is that it does not really matter if you work in the security field or not, you may want to get these flashlights for your personal use. Not only are they heavy duty and able to stay strong and sturdy, but they also illuminate quite well and give off more than enough light for a camping trip or a game of spotlight.

• Sunglasses – Why do police officers wear this police gear? Some might say it is because they want to intimidate others. Others would say it is simply to protect their eyes from the sun. There is probably truth in both of these statements. Some of the best sunglasses are those that wrap around the head and protect the corners of your eyes from the sun, as well as the fronts of your eyes.

This police gear can easily be purchased at stores or online. Other items of police gear, on the other hand, cannot be purchased nearly as easily. For example, if you plan to buy handguns or bulletproof vests, you should definitely not expect to be able to do this without going through a process to get them.
